Lock firmly believes that no celebration is truly complete without the stirring sound of bagpipes—a conviction rooted in his Scottish heritage and passed down by his father, who proudly played the pipes at every festive occasion, whether invited or not.
He honed his skills as a member of The Scots College Pipes & Drums Band, where his commitment earned him a place in the school’s premier competition band. With them, he performed at major events including the Sydney ANZAC Day Parade and had the distinguished honour of playing internationally at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the World Pipe Band Championships in Scotland.
Lock’s passion for the bagpipes remains undiminished. He continues to find joy in sharing their powerful presence, creating unforgettable moments for every occasion.
